Information we collect

Public song, artist, lyrics-source, discussion, and theological-assessment information can be viewed without an account. When you sign in with Google, Doxapraxis receives your Google account identifier, verified email address, display name, profile image, locale when supplied, and sign-in timestamps.

We also store content you submit, including comments, reports, and song requests. The service records security and operational data such as request IDs, timestamps, route, response status, latency, and error diagnostics.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate accounts, attribute public comments, moderate abuse, process song requests, secure and operate the service, and improve reliability. Doxapraxis does not sell personal information.

Processors and third-party services

Google provides sign-in. The hosting, database, uptime, and error-monitoring providers process operational data on the operator’s behalf. Spotify, Musixmatch, and OpenAI may process song metadata or licensed content only when the corresponding integration is enabled and contractually permitted.

Cookies and security

Doxapraxis uses a secure, HTTP-only session cookie. Mutating requests require an allowed production origin and a session-specific CSRF token. Reasonable safeguards reduce risk, but no online service can promise absolute security.

Advertising and advertising cookies

Doxapraxis uses Google AdSense to display and measure advertising. Google and other third-party vendors may place or read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers, when ads are served or an ad tag loads. Google may use advertising cookies to serve personalised or non-personalised ads and to measure their performance, depending on your settings, consent choices, and location.

Your choices

You can delete individual comments or permanently delete your account from your profile. See the data retention and deletion policy. For privacy questions, contact the support email shown on the Google consent screen.
